BIOGRAPHY: Came to US with his wife in 1863 when their daughter Margart Neises Krieger was only nine months old. They settled in rural Dubuque to farm. They purchased forty acres of land in the 1860's for fifty cents and acre. In 1923 it was sold to grandson Frank for one hundred dollars an acre. Now Frank's grandson, David owns it, having purchased it for arount $400 an acre.
BIOGRAPHY: Moved to the US in 1863 and moved to Minnesota in 1901 with their eight children.
